Boomers and Millennials Are Both Fans of CBD

Interesting statistics have shown how CBD usage breaks down by demographics.

Women — female consumers rose by 3% for the third consecutive year with the number of female consumers nearly doubled between 2017 and 2018.

Veterans — account for 3% of CBD consumers

Use by Age — consumers age 50 and older are one of the fastest growing age groups. The average age of CBD users is 31.

People With Disabilities — make up 11% of consumers

One interesting fact to note is that female boomers make up 21% of consumers primarily purchasing CBD products. Statistics are also showing that individuals using CBD are not only looking for natural alternatives to relieve pain, anxiety, and other health issues, but they’re also trying to reduce unhealthy habits such as tobacco and alcohol use. With these goals in mind, it’s easy to see the appeal of CBD both to boomers and millennials.
